FAQs
Do I need to be vaccinated for Covid-19 to attend?
Yes.
While we respect everyone’s personal choice, we respectfully ask that you be fully vaccinated to attend- for the safety of everyone else at the wedding and on island. Also, if you’re traveling from the mainland, proof of vaccination is require to bypass the mandatory quarantine.
What is the dress code for your wedding?
Tropical Cocktail: Aloha shirts, floral print, linen suits, flowy dresses, flowers in your hair — anything that embodies the spirit of the island! Please no shorts or slippahs!
Pro tip: The venue is outdoors and grassy so we recommend avoiding stiletto high heeled shoes.
Is this a kid-friendly wedding?
While we love the little ones, this will primarily be an adults-only wedding. Let us know if you need any help or assistance finding childcare for any of the events!
Is there an afterparty?
Of course- have you met us? Buses after the wedding will transport us to Blue Ribbon Karaoke. Please note in the RSVP form if you’re interested in a seat on the bus so we can get a final headcount.
Will I need to rent a car?
Yes- generally we recommend renting a car, especially if you’d like to travel around and see things on Oahu. We will be providing transportation to the venue and afterparty (please make note in your RSVP if you’d like a spot on the bus!). We strongly encourage you to book a car NOW- things are going quickly and getting expensive. Beyond the traditional rental brands, another option is TURO (aka the AirBnB of car rental).
If you’re staying only for a few days and in Waikiki then you can probably get away with just walking and Uber + Lyft.
Will there be vegan/vegetarian/gluten-free food options?
We’ll have an array of local Hawaiian food options suitable for all diets. Please reach out to us if there are any allergies or food concerns we should be aware of.
Is there someone I can contact if I have any other questions about the wedding?
Call or text us. We’re happy to answer any questions or give recommendations!
